Diamonds

This is the first model I ever made in 3DS Max I know I didn't cut the diamond quite right but I was having issues with Poly cutting. It took about 8 hours of work which was mostly trouble shooting. And render time was 3 hours and 52 minutes at 4500x2531 pixels with a sample level of 16.282 with a Dual AMD opteron 6282SE 8 core 16 thread 3.5 Ghz cpu machine. The diamond material uses Advanced IOR from a file with Lab tested refraction and diffraction parameters for diamond and the floor was a sub surface scattered marble material. After render I took it into photoshop for a little post processing including bloom, surface blur, de-noise, vignette, and chromatic aberration.
